Qinrun (“QR”) runs the day-to-day operations at Cuppah. Before founding Cuppah, he was Director of Group Finance at GLP in Singapore and worked in APAC Finance at Google. He also spent time in Group Finance at Brookfield and the real estate arm of the Ontario Teachers’ Pension Plan in Toronto.

QR began his career at EY Canada, where he qualified as a Chartered Accountant and survived multiple busy seasons. He holds an MBA from the University of Oxford (Saïd & Oriel College), a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Toronto, and is currently reading for an Executive Master in Finance at INSEAD.

He runs his day on a cup of green tea - and a sprinkle of matcha. 🍵

Yan Liang is Vice President, Investment Banking at a major international bank, where he focuses on mergers and acquisitions. He’s been in investment banking for over 8 years, and is based in Singapore.

He holds a Master in Financial Economics from the University of Oxford (Saïd & Green Templeton College) and a Bachelor’s in Economics from the University of Cambridge (Christ’s College). He’s currently pursuing his Executive MBA at the University of Chicago Booth School of Business - because clearly, investment banking isn’t intense enough.

After many years in investment banking, Yan Liang has learned to handle all kinds of pain - but prefers his pain au chocolat. 🥐

Billy is currently an Investment Manager at Helmsman Asset Management, a Singapore-based single family office. He focuses on public equity investments in the technology sector, alongside private fund allocations.

Previously, he managed equity portfolios at CTBC Financial Holding and was part of the Management Associate Programme at UOB. He holds an Executive Master in Finance (EMFin) from INSEAD, as well as an MBA in Finance and a BSc in Agricultural Economics from National Taiwan University - proof that you can go from studying crops to picking stocks.
